Fallopian tubes are the long, narrow ducts located in the female reproductive tract. There are one ovary and one fallopian tube at each side of the uterus. The fallopian tubes play an important role to get pregnant. Either of a pair helps to transport the male sperm to the female eggs and later transport the fertilized egg from the ovary to the lumen of the uterus. Blocked fallopian tubes are also known as Tubal Occlusion medically. If the fallopian tube is blocked, then the path from the sperm to the egg and the fertilized egg to the uterus is blocked.
